I am back home from the hospital

When I was admitted I got exposed to Covid so I was treated with special observation for 5 days. After testing negative I was able to leave.
They put me on Gabapentin and tried some other meds, but that is the only prescription they sent home. I also bought some Melatonin to help me sleep. I am now averaging 6 hours a night rather than 3, and I nap a little during the day. I tried to see a Neurologist but they said that would have to be out patient, so we are trying to find one ASAP.
A BIG THANK YOU to those who wished me well, the support is much appreciated. :)

I'm glad you are home and hopefully feeling better. Unable to see a neurologist while in the hospital is appalling. Do you have any pain clinics in your area?
Tomorrow morning we are going to make some calls to find out how and where to see a Neurologist. I just looked and there are abut 6 pain clinics near us...thanks for the heads up.

Paco, was just reading about your periphral neuropathy that caused you so much pain you had to be hospitalized, very sorry. Getting Covid at the hospital on top of that was too bad also. Sounds like it wasn't too severe, and glad you're back home again. I hope you can find a neurologist who can help you with your pain. Good that you're able to get some more sleep now, we always have melatonin on hand as a sleep aid, my husband has some chronic pain and he often takes it at bedtime, and again in the middle of the night if needed. Hope you feel better soon and can get some rest and peace of mind. Take care.
