I Am Bored

The wife is away again with her cronies on another adventure. This time, the ladies are heading to Maine to visit Acadia National Park and go whale watching on a boat. These 4 women don’t sit still. None of their husbands play golf and my 2 best buds are on vacation.

I asked her what was I supposed to do while she was gone. Her answer was ‘do whatever you want.’ Those are dangerous words. My son is working and my daughter is away. I am bored.

I am going to go up to the SPCA and see if they need help. It’s only about 2 miles away. The hospitals only want help in the mornings. If the SPCA doesn’t work out, I’m going to go get my son’s motorcycle and take a long ride out in the country.

You could lose that boredom by bringing a furbaby best friend home with you and starting to spoil the heck out of it. I'm partial to precious kitties... but if you do *not* plan to offer a forever home, don't look into their eyes or you'll be bringing one home whether you intended to or not. @911 :giggle:

Your wife said to do whatever you want. That's pretty open-ended, you know? Adopt a Great Dane from spca.

I was thinking the same thing. It would give a forever home to a needy pet, provide something useful to do for a senior man all while teaching his wife a much needed lesson ;). But then again Acadia National park IS beautiful. She's not bored and is enjoying HER life so enjoy yours @911
