I am having trouble with this site

Monday now... reporting that site is slow this morning, especially with uploading graphics... *but* connection is steady without issues, so that's always a good thing!

I noticed around 1A.M. U.S. Central time and about one hour following, the forum site took forever to load ... and I have fiber.
Initially I thought my IP address had been blocked !!!

@Matrix , glad I saw this thread but find it awful that you are dealing with perhaps something nefarious.
Thanks for doing what you do Matrix and allowing us into your "house"

When a post is quoted, if I'm at the computer, I see the usual red pop up notice on the bell symbol, but then it disappears very soon afterward.

I cleared my browsing data on my phone. Didn't have to log back in. Site seems ok so far after that.

All I saw was 985 when I was having problems posting today.

Since the board has no speed issue at the moment, if anyone has difficulty loading or posting, it should be a local issue.

@Matrix ... maybe another possibility is that chatGPT (something you mentioned using recently for software/server analysis) could still be researching your query.

If you're done with the chatGPT task, try deleting the activity from the chatGPT interface. Just a thought from someone looking in and trying to think outside the box.

Very slow here in freezing Aussie land , but I usually blame out internet coverage ,we can see the tower from our back yard …but we are just outside of the coverage area ..sigh ..country living folk are the last to get updated infrastructure
