Lord knows you are happy to be home. I hope none of us have to go through hospitalization again. In truth, we probably will. Now days' time in a hospital is torture. Not that long ago you were pampered like at a fine hotel during your illness. Now, with everything the medical community had suffered during covid has exhausted the system. Not enough nurses, instead of checking on you, you have to ring the bell. Beg for a diet coke and a pack of peanut butter crackers, oh, by the way, can you help me to the bathroom. This was the experience during my last visit for a hip replacement.

It is a state of affairs that people have to suffer due the greed of the medical and insurance companies that do not provide the staff needed to take care of sick people while charging ridiculous amounts of money. I am grateful to those who have chosen healthcare as their field, I am sure they are not being treated well either.

I have been out of the loop for awhile and wasn't aware that you were ill. Glad to see that you are back. Are you back to being 100% over the illness that sent you to the hospital?

She did come home at the start of this thread. But I haven't seen her on here since Wednesday, I think. Maybe she is just not feeling up to getting on here.
