There must be different definitions of 'society', if it includes people posting comments on the internet I'd say society is full of people trying very hard to offend and hurt other people.

I sort of anticipated your reaction, dear dseag. Sometimes without wanting to, I stir things up, don't I? I didn't mean to do that. It's just that I felt for Ed and at the same time I feel for you. Maybe you're not living in the 1960s, but maybe I am. I don't know what it is with SF but every time I say something that I believe in, I get attacked verbally and I seem to invoke anger. Maybe I'll stop coming here and look for someplace more open-minded. Have a good night.

Don't feel bad or stop coming. You have a lot of friends here. I got attacked just recently. What is so funny is the the part of my post that was attacked was the least significant part. LOL I realize when I comment on certain topics, there is going to be blowback from somewhere or someone. But, you have to be true to yourself and your conscience. Your friends have your back even if we don't agree with you all the time or even if you don't agree with us. This too shall pass. LOL

I don’t care who has sex with who, or who identifies which sex they are, at which time in life they are at, (sexual orientation can change which is how the term non-binary came to be). I don’t care if a man wears dresses, why not?; woman wear men clothes.

I do care about open sexual behavior in public: ugh. I do care about sex in movies and explicit sex in movies which is never necessary to the plot, ugh. And why do we now have to watch people in movies pee and wipe themselves?

I, personally, do not need to know anyones sexual identity and wish people would not tell me. At 75, with all my disabilities, I am not having sex ever; that ship not only sailed but it sunk. It’s not like I’m going to jump on someone or let them jump on me.

Sex in movies is kind of boring. Otherwise it's o.k.
