I am not even a member of facebook but I have been blocked

I sometimes look at facebook as I am directed there because of an enquiry I made via Google search engine.
When I wanted to look at a business today this was the message I received.
You're temporarily blocked.
It looks like you were misusing this feature by going too fast. You’ve been temporarily blocked from using it.

Wow, is that a thing? "Going too fast"? I look at it maybe once every 3 weeks.
I can not get much information anyway, only a small protion of the first page.
Oh well, no sleep for me tonight, this has rocked me to my core.

I rarely look in my Facebook account .. but, when I do - I'm also just in and out. Never been blocked. Not that it would make any difference to me, either.

Maybe non members only have a certain number of times they can visit, when that number is reached, join or be blocked.

Speedy Bretrick, I had a F.B. account that I rarely ever used. I guess they shut it down because of non-use?? Then I'd get the "blocked' notice. I later opened another account, and the blocked notice went away.
But now, I get notices that Mawanhabib Singpuwllala wants to be my friend.

Being blocked by facebook is probably the most humiliating thing that could happen in your life. You should be ashamed. Me? I blocked facebook before they had a chance to block me. My ego couldn't take such public embarrassment.

Yes, that is a common thing on fakebook. I have been having that happen to me several times a week lately. You have to leave and come back a few hours later.

Going too fast? I don't even know what that means B !! FB has been getting more and more annoying with their algorithms, rules and blockings. Did you know there's a "Facebook jail"...that's what we call it, so looks like that's where you are right now. I almost got put into FB jail once, my son and a good friend have been in a couple of times each.

I know people who've been in FB Jail. I thought it was only due to "wrong thinking" political postings though.
