I am thinking what I could do at home while there is no place to go. What do you do? Hobbies, books, crafts, puzzles?

My senior center has closed for 30 days and playing dominoes and cards with my friends is out of the question. We are meeting at one person's house twice a week, but that knocks a lot of people out. According to the CDC, seniors of 10 or less people meeting at a house to play cards is ok, with or without masks. We choose to wear masks and meet. There's tv to watch, sew masks, walk the dogs, read a book. What are your ideas?

I am on line or crafting. Lately I'm taking naps due to something I've caught. Can't believe it's corona because I'm not that sick but will have a test tomorrow to make sure.

Read all the books on my 'someday I'll read that' list. Also a lot of on line games and puzzles. Armchair travel via TV or computer. I've always had a lot of curiosity and the internet makes exploring from my armchair easy when real time is not feasible.

Once I pulled up Google Earth and searched all over England for evidence of old crop circles. I found two that were positive and a couple of probables.

Another fun task, again using G.E., plot an interesting road trip.

I always enjoyed reading, but now my eyesight is failing so the small print in books makes it hard to read. I do almost everything on the computer to keep me occupied. I play card games and word games etc. After they can do my cataract surgery I will start reading again.
If you had a Kindle to read your books, you could make the fonts larger

Just about everything people have already mentioned, plus I spend a significant amount of my time tending the garden. We don't have a pool here which is a shame, I do miss a pool, but this summer has been verrrry hot here, and so the garden had to be keep maintained all the time to keep everything green and alive!

I also spend quite a bit of time taking walks in my semi rural area and or driving out somewhere and taking photos..

Our lockdown has been lifted many weeks ago..although in the last few days some cities in the north have been put on a semi lockdown again...but we in the south are able to do everything and go everywhere we couldn't during the 3 months of lockdown... but things have changed so much, nothing is relaxed as it once was, shopping, restaurants, pubs.. clubs..even the doctors surgery or dentist are all very stressful places now .. so having the countryside on my doorstep, and the rivers, woodland , and lakes all free to walk is a big bonus

One of the things I did that I might not have done otherwise is go through desks and files full of old bills, papers, old receipts, medical records I no longer needed etc and thinned them down to a minimum I needed to keep. That in addition to the contents of an ongoing ā€œto be shreddedā€ bag added up to 7 pounds of stuff I took to the shredding place.

I love to dance and I enjoy finding different music for dances I already know. For instance, the steps to the country line dance "Tennessee Waltz Surprise" fit perfectly to Billy Joel's "Uptown Girl." I've also learned some new ones, like to Shenia Twain's "That Don't Impress Me Much." Keeps my mind and my body active =)

In the house, I have cleaned out and organized many rooms and I still have things to do. My library is open so my reading has expanded. I walk everyday. I listen to songs on the computer with the words so I can learn them off by heart. I play free jigsaw puzzles on the computer almost every day.

I have not actually been locked down. I have four parks within walking distance so go to those and take pictures for my blog. I also go to the store if I need something. I work on my family tree on the computer, go to Pinterest, write my blog or in my journal which is on my computer too. Lately I have been doing adult coloring while I watch videos on Prime or YouTube. I always have things to do.

I've ordered several books from Thriftbooks. They have a large print section you might want to check out: https://www.thriftbooks.com/b/large...MIpNagr-Lh6wIVzsDACh30Gw6pEAAYASAAEgJ-ZfD_BwE

Well, we do, when the weather is right, take our powerboat out to local lake. When not on our boat, watching PGA Tournaments on tv as well as (now) NFL games. Watch DVD movies that we have. Play our Wii Game.

Playing games on the computer, or the Internet.
I thought about getting a crossword or Sudoku book. I already play games on the internet, but it is something to do
Exercise. It's so important to stay in shape. Go for a walk. Ride a bike. Mop the floor. Whenever you have nothing to do, there is always something that needs cleaning.
That is very much like me. There is always something to do. Even re-organizing.
