I bought a tablet, and I'm not happy with it.

I've been thinking about getting a tablet, thought I wanted an android. I love my Kindle Paperwhite because it has no blue light, but am wanting to check out ebooks from sites rather than just through Amazon, which can't be done with the Kindle. So I looked into it today, and it appears that on the android tablets you can't turn the blue light off, only reduce it and only on some tablets; but on the iPads you can totally turn it off. Is that the experience the iPad users here have had?
