In my case,I asked this many many years before Covid..on Christmas Eve when all of us ( children,husband myself) were getting ready..my children still will not let me forget!

I’m not a practicing Catholic, but in many instances where I lived, Midnight Mass started at 11pm so Communion would be at midnight, or even as early as 10:30 pm if it was a high mass with lots of choir etc.

On Christmas Eve there were three masses and yes the one I went to started at midnight..always did in Sudbury Ontario…I am not a liar..Gee why do I feel I am doubted?

Correct. We usually started at 10:30 pm with communion at midnight. There was always a lot of music that took some time. But so beautiful and lots of meaning!

The correct answer is that nobody is buried under the monument…Grant and his wife are, however, entombed here and are not six feet under.

Not a Catholic here, I have only been to one Mass in my life, it was Christmas midnight and it was at midnight.

And now I know the right answer to who is "buried" in Grant's tomb. Thanks @RadishRose ! Have to remember that.
