The icon pic does look a lot like Woody Harrelson. Aunt Mavis is either a fan (rightfully so), or she's a pretty handsome gal.

@Aunt Mavis - I thought you were talking about fishing. "Caught 11" is a great fishing trip!

I have a table just like the one under your aquarium. Good idea to make a stand for it. Me and my kids kept various types of goldfish and I built the stand with just some pine and cedar boards I had laying around. Turned out pretty nice. Had a cabinet for the fishfood and extra filters and tubing and stuff.

A gallon of water weighs.......about 8 pounds. So a 10 gallon aquarium weighs about 80 pounds, or more, depending on the stuff inside it, like gravel, decorations , and of course the fish. JimB.

Someone took their ancestors from the wild long ago, thank God Mom just had to go to Petco. Lol.

A dude named Aunty and is supposedly over 50 years old brought home 11 goldfish he caught for his Mom who lives in a cave.

What's not to understand?? lol!
 
Oh, I like this thread. I understand exactly who mom is and why she's in the cave. I used to have an aquarium much like yours, Auntie, with fish I almost threw out with the water. It seems their mom had killed off the dad, then she gave birth to little fish, and the struggle did her in.
Only after I watched the black specks did I realize I was the caregiver for orphans. Six lived for four years, I named them all.
Rim Ray (hung around the rim), Big Boy (biggest of the lot), Maizie, Little Guy, and two others.

Gosh, I may have to visit Petco soon.

I’m almost finished with my new stand. I felt weird because it was the base of a Bumper Pool set that was free on the corner. Nobody plays that game so after thinking on it I snatched it up. It’ll hold about 500 lbs plus instead of 225 plus. Mom still likes to hide, Donald is the most active. He’s orange. Lol.

Are you planning to add more fish and if so what types?

Nah, there’s 11 total for a 20 gallon tank. My gut tells me that’s maximum. It’s relaxing watching them do their thing, just like when I watch Squeaky the Squirrel outside doing his.

I can observe fish tanks for a long time, it is so peaceful and relaxing I agree.

Squeaky the squirrel, it is such fun to observe squirrels search for, find, and hide their nuts. :)
