I Didn't See Anything I Thought Y'all Would Like ...

Today I visited an estate sales store here in my small town.
While I didn't see anything I thought y'all would like, I walked out with an addition to my pocket knife collection.
Buck Canoe pattern with burl wood handle joins the Buck family of pocket knives I already have.
It isn't a vintage knife and it's actually made in China ... but it's a Buck.
* I might be the man in the mirror in one of the pictures D'oh

Oh I love a sale like that... I probably wouldn't have bought anything altho' I did like the look of that red chair maybe for the barn.... the record collection looks exactly like my old collection I threw out.... and I tell you.. if you'd taken @debodun along with you..you could have left her there for a week...

@hollydolly ... the real leather red recliner chairs also caught my attention. There is a matching pair there and they only want $295- each.
Thing is though, I had a red leather chair for about a decade and my medium sized house dogs eventually destroyed it.
So if I didn't still have a house dog that's allowed on furniture, I likely may have brought those red chairs home. Real leather is nice.

I too have red leather sofas in my home.. but Burgundy ( claret) real leather.. and fortunately no dogs to destroy them...

I enjoyed just now, viewing your Estate Sale Store visit, it was worth the visit :)
The Red Leather Chair sure has my eye also! As did numerous other things.
If having a larger home (which I don't) I'd of left that sale with exactly 5 items
of my interest. Pile them all on the red chair carefully and off I go ;)

@ Naturally, and you got a new Buck Pocketknife. Great find, it looks good :)

@Naturally maybe we need a knife thread here.

I don't collect, but I have an appreciation of classics and neo-classic innovations in pocket knives, boy's knives, jack knives, etc. Not so much belt knives and boot knives and such but maybe others do.

Some aren't sturdy or practical but can be pretty using unique materials. I like the look of the Petoskey Stone used here:

That pocket knife looks like a fine piece of craftsmanship. Nice.

While not as fancy as the one you've shared ...
Pocket knife I'm totin' today is a Hungarian Stag handled 'Round Head', handmade by Tibor Szankovits
Szankovits are hard to come by around here. If ever in Hungary, I'll stop by his shop.
Seems to be the only reliable way to get one.

On another note, I drove by that estate sales store earlier this week and found IT'S CLOSED !!! ... building is empty :(
The old building and old one next door are being rebuilt, so maybe they'll move into there in time. One can hope.
