I Dislike Microsoft News

For years Microsoft News has been upsetting me! It was hidden away at the bottom of my computer screen. So every few minutes as my cruiser was moving across the screen this "Microsoft News" would come up. For a long time, it was none stop photos of Donal Trump with his mouth opened. These days it's that "charming" Prince Harry with his abrasive red beard. Another "media darling" I suppose. Even worse was the bad advertising sometimes hidden as some sort of wonderful news.

The "nail on the coffin" was the small display. The stories only had 2 or 3 lines so you had to keep scrolling.

Yesterday, I finally won the battle with Satan. I Googled and found out that yes, Virginia, there is a way to get rid of the unwanted Microsoft News. I religiously followed the instruction and starting today I am enjoying the peace and tranquility of not being forced to look at Microsoft News. Praise the Lord!

Yes, Microsoft News is gone. The bottom of my screen is more or less empty. I'm so happy now that if I was Irish, I would jump up and dance me a little jig to celebrate. It truly is goodbye to bad rubbish!

It's one thing to want to read the news. However, it's a completely different story when the news keeps jumping in your face when you want to be doing something else on the street. I like my websites up there under my "Bookmarks." So, when I want to read some news, I do it. Pop ups are very annoying and I don't read them. It really boils down to a case of "less is better."
