I do not wear a watch

Am I weird?
I have gone through my entire life never wearing any kind of Personal adornments.
Never a necklace nor a ring. I bought a Watch 30 years ago to wear to one occasion. I still have that watch but never wear it.
No tattoos nor piercings.
Though I have in the past worn decorative Belt Buckles :D

I'm a little more into those things. I wear a ring on each hand, 3 pairs of small earrings, and a necklace every day.
I used to wear a watch everyday, but gave it up years ago though I still own several that I would have to get batteries for if I wanted to wear one.

I used to wear watches but started noticing that they would stop running on me. I bought two beautiful watches and each of them stopped running. I thought it was their batteries so I took them to a watch place and had the batteries replaced. Before long, they each stopped running again. I have a niece who has the same issue. Maybe we are the weird ones.

Something about your electricity field plays havoc with watches 😦

I wear a digital watch every day. It is a major PITA when it has to be reset, but I really like having time, day and date in an easy to read display.

El Cheapo is a god brand.

A watch for me, early in my life, was something I would wear because of the time factor with aircraft support.
They don't like you being late for service and rightly so.
Stopped wearing one at work after I left the USAF because cell phones came into fashion.
Still would wear one after work, due to habit.

Now that I can answer phone calls with pushing a button on my hearing aids, I rarely pull my cell phone out of my pocket.
Started buying new watches and switch up a lot.

A lifetime of just lifting up my left arm is hard to break.

I have read that watches, the bigger, the better, are now ultra fashion statements. One just would not leave ones home without wearing a watch.. Jeesh!
I'm a clock nut, I have clocks all over the place, but I still rely on my $12 Timex watch. Last thing I take off, at night; ;and the first thing I put on.

My goal is to get to a stage in my life where time becomes irrelevant. No need to look at a clock.
Of course that is a forlorn hope. As I age, Doctors appointments will require time awareness.

If you're weird then so am I 🤪
Except for the decorative belt buckles, I'm just like you (y)

Fortunately I have always had a talent for telling time fairly accurately during daylight hours providing I can see the position of the sun in the sky. I've actually won several bets doing that - lol! If it's cloudy, I'm screwed.

Not for this! :)
I rarely wear jewelry. It gets in my way. I hate wearing watches. Before cell phones were common, I'd sit down somewhere and take off my watch - things around my wrist bug me. I lost a lot of watches that way. Now I just use my cell phone. Except in the middle of the night. For some reason unknown to me, when I wake up several times a night, I know what time it is. I check my phone, and yup. I'm right on the button, sometimes give or take a minute or two.

I don't have any tattoos or piercings either. Although I did once have pierced ears. I wanted to get my daughter's ears pierced when she was a baby (not newborn), but my husband thought it was tacky. The main thing is, I don't like pain, and no matter what, I'm not going to risk it with a tattoo. Now that I think of it, I should get a temporary tattoo, just to watch my husband's reaction! Although, after all these years, he's not as gullible about practical jokes as he used to be.

Yeah, do it for a laugh. Tattoo that is.
Maybe just above a dress hemline? So when you sit down a small portion shows. :)
Be coy in your response, "I was not sure how you would take it, me getting a Tat." :)

My daughter, who is 26, bought a watch to wear on job interviews! I was so surprised. She's had a cell phone for eons and never wore a watch because of that. Thank you for explaining that it is a fashion statement. She just left me dithering about whether she was becoming a Luddite. After all, she had changed to reading actual books, instead of just using her Kindle.

Don't be offended. I am speaking of a 26 year old, raised in the midst of the technological revolution. Not those of us who have spent decades using watches and reading book-books.

To each his or her own. No one is weird but we all differ some. I used to wear a watch till I got tired of replacing the battery.

I never wore much jewelry but for a few years wore pierced earrings and also a pierced nose for awhile. Boy did that hurt!

Anyhow now I'm thinking of repeircing my ears. I don't know if I will yet.

There is the problem that I don't own a dress.

I figured I would put it on my arm or neck, or maybe even on my face. If it was warmer, I'd wear shorts and put it on my calf. He especially hates tattoos on calves. I am going to be unhappy if he doesn't react because he knows me, and figures it has to be temporary.

If I were younger, and had not had children yet, I would have a discrete nose piercing (emerald), and a pierced belly button - something noticeable and pretty.

I quit wearing earrings when I discovered babies will grab them. The good news is none of them ever pulled them out of my ear, which I figured would be straight down, splitting the lobe. Babies probably aren't that strong, though.
