I couldn't agree more. How about having a body that was younger?Hello Mac. I also don't accept being old, but I didn't accept being young either. (How does one accept being young, anyway? IDK.)
I know you probably heard this but my mind thinks I'm in my 30's. My body thinks my mind is a fool.I don't accept being old either @Fishtax Mac I can't believe I am here with all these old people!
Now, don't all tell me off! I'm joking![]()
Thanks Lewkat
The best job I ever had was a school bus driver. My students made it so good. I was also a volunteer 7th grade science teacher for 10 years.Thank you Pinky!
NO, you cannot!!!, "getting old" are the ragsI recently turned 90. Does that mean that I can begin to acknowledge that I'm "getting old" ?
Eventually you can. Don't rush it though.I recently turned 90. Does that mean that I can begin to acknowledge that I'm "getting old" ?

I was blessed with a good life. I was fortunate to be at the right place at the right time. I've always tried to be nice to everyone I met. I wish I would have had more than just one child, though. Like all of us we have regrets. Thank you for the response.Welcome Fishtax Mac , you sure had an interesting live!
Thanks for the heads up but I think I'll be safe. I live in Wyoming, lol.Welcome, Mac! Prop your feet up and have aand

Oh, and that "I don't accept being old" thing... that's% me, too. I'm barely 66 and cringe to be called a senior.
And if you hear anyone call me "elderly".... well then, run and take cover.![]()
Thank you hearlady.
My parents had a small farm in Virginia. They raised cattle. There were steak houses that bought the cattle they raised. I used to help them on weekends.I was Industrial, if it handled material I fixed, installed, maintained it. Electrician, mechanic, welder, fabricator etc.
I farmed the other 16 hours of the day, weekends, vacation and other stuff if i had a chance. I proud but wouldn't
do it again. Well not the farming part. ............... hire it done. Haha
But the land seems to draw me to it. In my blood is might surmise, especially the creeks and timbers. Gotta go! haha
