I don't know if this is allowed but on a daily basis, what pisses you off?

Different things go against my grain, but since the OP focused language, or some of the irritating things that people say, I'll stick with that.

On a TV show, when someone is asked a question, they preface their answer with "Yeah, so . . . " (or) "Sure . . ." (or) "That's a great question . . . " before they deliver their answer. It's unoriginal and unnecessary. Just answer the question.

And another pet peeve of mine started years ago, and has become so common that most people think nothing of it, but I do. My wife and I would go out to eat in a nice restaurant, and the waitress would ask, "How are you guys tonight?" / "What can I get you guys?" We weren't guys; one of us was a female. It's polite and acceptable to ask how we are, and to ask for our order, but leave the "guys" off.

Sounds like Texas has gone to hell! It must be a California transplant that says, "you guys." I would reply it is, "y'all, y'all says it all."

My son who moved back there has been trying to leave for 4 years now, he says it's Like the song Hotel California for him. He's financially ready but every home he goes to purchase elsewhere sells before he can get out to see it elsewhere.
It's not Calif. itself that I don't like, in fact more and more I'm glad I live in this state. And it's not the city we live in either. Rather, it's our lonely, out-in-the-middle-of-nowhere neighborhood and I also don't like the fact that there is one, affordable neighborhood in this city that has everything I want and we need since it's almost european in its walkability but my Huzz hates it and only likes this neighborhood. So I'm never getting out of here; my next stop is the nursing home or the morgue, whichever comes first.

California is a really beautiful state with great weather.I can totally understand why you don’t like your neighborhood as it sounds like it’s very isolating. If you lived in town, you could walk to places you want to go or take a bus.

Repeating words continually is harsh on the ear, it's a symptom of grammar ignorance. Modern day communication is electronic, the vast majority being the text message. E-mail is also used but social use is mainly text. Most younger people in the age group that you mentioned Paulina, have never written a letter by hand, nor have they had the pleasure of receiving such a letter.

Back when we were that age, handwriting was the norm, we thanked our relatives for the greeting card, we sent our new girl/boy friend a tentative first love letter and we wrote a curriculum vitae / resume to would be employers, or colleges, if we were applying for higher education. All those grammatical skills have been lost, now it's just text speak, or should I say txt spk?

It's a sad indictment of the laziness that has become the norm in communication. Lack of vocabulary, lack of grammar and lack of handwriting skill have all contributed to the irritating repitition that so hacked you off.
Hacked. Good word! Yeah, I really miss those personable days with cards, letters and all. Geez we used to have to read a textbook in school (or at home) to find the answers we were looking for. Your lack word is dead on.

My neighbor keeps offering me food already cooked. I have lived here since late January. She introduced herself the third day I moved by inviting me to dinner that evening, which I politely turned down. Since that time, she continues to offer me food already cooked about twice a week. On most evenings, I turned down the food. How long does she plan on doing this?

We are about the same age and she is pretty, but just not my type.
I think this is all about trying to get me to be interested in her.

I believe your neighbor has a crush on you.

Just tell her you have to follow a restricted diet,...but thank you. :)

That’s an easy question for me. Drivers that have none to
very little knowledge of how to enter or exit a freeway.
This drove me batty on a daily basis back when we lived in Virginia, right off Interstate 95. I would invariably, about every week (so perhaps not on a daily basis, literally, but often enough) get behind some yahoo who would try to timidly merge into the 70-mph traffic by coming to an almost complete stop—forcing me and anyone else behind them to come to a near-stop, too. So dangerous!

I finally just started avoiding 95 if I could and taking side roads, even though that invariably took longer.

These days, I can't think of anything that bugs me on a daily basis.

Yes, that’s a no-brainer. On occasions, she has made it a point to bring me cold dinks this summer while I was working outside. She also has invited me to go to her naturist resort to swim and stay for dinner there. I think she either wanted me to see her nude or she wanted to see me nude. I told her that I couldn’t justify getting undressed for so many people I don’t even know to see me nude. I did write earlier that she is pretty and built pretty well, but the chemistry isn’t there for me to be interested in her.

Not on a daily basis. I can't remember the last time I was pissed off. OK there was a guy I didn't like, but he died 5 years ago. He pissed me off a lot, because he was really stupid and always thought he was so smart and better than everyone else. I'm fine with people who are actually smarter than most everyone else. No problem there, but not that guy.
I know of a very stupid guy like that, but he doesn't have the good grace to die!
