What is it about human nature that draws us to the dark side of reality? Is it strange that Edgar Allan Poe achieved literary success based on victims of suffering?
The Exorcist-1973 depicts a young girl possessed by a demonic spirit and her mother who turns to two Catholic priests for exorcism. Something about demons and spirits I try to avoid being exposed to, strangely, even though demons and spirits have not been proven to me, I prefer to be safe than sorry.
Psycho 1960, The Night of the Hunter-1955, Jaws 1975, Invasion of the Body Snatchers-1956, The Silence of the Lambs-1991 are some of my favorites.
