I felt I was posting things

that really didn't matter some years ago. Now, I try to limit my posts to issues I really care about. If you don't see my name it's because my life is so boring that I really don't have anything exciting to post. I think my posts might have more impact when they are of some help or interest to you all.

Thanks Gary, I try to hold my posts until I have something I think the gang will be interested in rather than just post anything to add to my post count. Problem is my life is so boring it's hard to find something to post.

Jim, usually none of us has anything earthshaking to post, so if we all only posted when we did, nobody would be posting. One of the purposes of this forum, as I understand it, is to have a group of friendly people to interact with and care about. So I think you should keep posting as you have been. I think we all enjoy hearing from each other.

I, for one, consider you a friend and enjoy your posts to let us know how you are doing. Please don't "drop out" of posting everyday stuff. It's the everyday stuff that keeps us a community.

Jim, I think a major reason for the existence of this forum is to share our life experiences being seniors. Anything you or anyone shares can be of help to others. Even if it is just as Gary said, to let everyone know we are surviving and moving on.
Sadly, as we grow older, a major thing we deal with is grief and loss. Knowing that others have the same life events is helpful.

Went out into my back yard to spread a small bucket of birdseed under and around my bird feeders.
I noticed the back yard is dry and cracked something awful, some noticeably wide. My wife watered
her front flowerbeds and mentioned the front yard dry and cracked. Gosh, to tell the truth it hasn't been
long until the back yard was flooded. For three months, I swear, it rained enough weekly to flood us.
Of course the property behind us is on higher ground making this whole block we live on something
of a mess. To say all that and today look and see these wide cracks, I don't know. Beginning to wonder
what kind of country we live in. however, thinking on it I expect it is some our indian friends would like
to have back. Rain or no rain, life is good, no matter what we put up with.
