I Forgot My Kid But Not My Phone

I heard this this morning on CBS sports channel. A sign of the times recommendation to parents of infant children sitting in the back seat. Put you phone in the back seat. Why you ask. Because we are more concerned about our phones than our kids so when they exit the vehicle the child will also exit.

My car has a warning on the dashboard. When I park, it says, "Check Rear Seats." I don't think it goes far enough.

Hard to believe that it's possible. Too much attention on the phone even when people are walking or at the dinner table when they should be talking to family.

I've had to stop my car from hitting people as they leisurely walk right in front of me while looking at their phone...

I had my children back in the early 70's and they were in the car seat in the front seat and they survived just fine. I just don't understand how you could "forget" you have a kid in the car.
