Well, I for one was not talking down to anyone. It is a truth and I simply stated it. I don't think I am holier than thou.

That happens when a person doesn't open their heart to God fully. I didn't understand a lot of stuff. Much that I still don't.

And you said you were brought up Christian? First, God doesn't judge if we are "worthy" or not. We all sin, we aren't worthy. That's why Jesus had to come and make the ultimate sacrifice for us. Two, God doesn't send anyone to hell. We are all headed there. God saves us, if we ask.

He and His followers were/are the church. Do you mean building?

He didn't need anything. He was God in human form.

What is it you need to know of the first 30 years? He was preparing Himself to do the job He was sent to do.

Well if his teachings were the church, why are there thousands of them around the world now? What went wrong? Why do taxpayers spend billions for a building that is not needed? Especially in the age of the internet. Can not God hear me now? Do I need to attend a service to be saved?
Yes I do need to know his first 30 years. I need to know if he was good or evil as defined by his actions. What did he do in his teens, early 20's? Was there signs he was the chosen one, or did one day God (his father through immaculate conception-cause hes all powerful) woke him and said, "Jesus Christ your lazy...I have a job for you"!

I actually had several conversations with many religious individuals over the years, and usually about half end up like your statements. "You find out when your die", and "because its the truth".
No, it's your truth. And if we find out when we die, then what's the point of following the teachings of God so adamantly? Just be a good person, realize many mistakes are made throughout your life and hope for the best!

The very fact that you tell me I am wrong and 'its the truth', as if you know, is why no one really believes anymore. Cause your very actions are against the teachings. And by that matter, you won't go to Heaven.

Church has nothing to do with salvation. Correct.

I wasn’t sure if you were making a statement or asking a question, so I will just add the following, but please understand that it’s only one of my beliefs and not meant to start a debate.

A Church by itself is only a building. That is correct. However, the people who attend our church believe that a church is a building where we attend as a group (or family) to sustain our relationship with God through our faith in Jesus Christ. That’s what gives us our salvation.

well on the service can't fault BUT there are those who wants to be there wholeheartedly to meet their Lord and Saviour - others who go along to keep the peace??
