I was notified via e-mail that my postman arrived with a check for $500 today and no one was here to receive it. I'll have to send a check for $100 to a very odd address to get it.

Dear God, how "stoopid" do they think we are???!!!!!

Yep, sending the check tonight and appreciate that the Post Office layoffs didn't include those responsible for advising me of the problem today. I would've really lost out!
 

Our Post office has a sign on the notice board warning about the Fed Ex scam where you have to send them a redelivery fee for a missed item which will be henceforth forwarded to the nearest post office. There must have been a few turning up and asking Will for their parcels. Idiots.
I don't think I've ever seen a Fed Ex truck, do they even operate in OZ??


Never mind, they do, just haven't seen them around.

Yet another one they've come up re FED EX..the holidays are the worst. We all know Fed Ex/UPS/any of the delivery firms don't charge for redelivery any more than the post office does. I'm just concerned for those who aren't thinking clearly enough and falling for it. You know some are or they wouldn't keep doing it! Makes me so angry!
