I hate scammers so hard!

So I got an email, ostensibly from an old friend. “Just checking in. Can I askmyou a small favor?” My first thought was “name it!” But a nanosecond later I thought it could be a scam. So I called. And yes, it was not my old friend, and she had changed her password. Sigh. Geez Louise, I hate these scammers. HATE THEM! I think, surely, if they put in the same effort to a legitimate cause, they would do as well. But I think some people just like the nefarious aspect and would lie when the truth would do as well. I despair.

Yup. I am not looking forward to that one bit. Nor the debates among the "best and brightest" on how to ban A.I. and from what? I would like to arrange Watch Parties for every time Zuckerberg & his ilk are talking to a Congressional hearing so we could make snarky jokes, write them down, and post them online.

Alas, then the fan boys would perceive that as a threat, four old ladies sitting around being snarky - major threat! - and target us, somehow. But dang, I am so sick of these Silicon Valley Posse members. They are so self-important. IMO.
