Bundy the no-longer pound dog is settling in well. Completed the paper work at shire office today and discovered he is in fact a so called Bull Arab - which others here colloquially call a pig dog - which is exactly what some are trained to do - hunt down usually wild pigs. Don't know much about the practices so far?
I have taken him for a few trots on the lead but today he broke free!!!!!!!!!!!!! not from me personally but from his attached lead on the front porch - there was next doors dog who also looks looks like a pig dog but possible a bull terrier - [ there is a third dog lurkin around too! but more later] as I enter the porch said other dog took off and Bundy took off too simply snapping his lead clean at the collar - lead left behind collar still intact.
Me with walking cane cautiously following - then comes in third dog [an old soldier - lives a stone throw away in a caravan - my social life is getting complex I know! all three dogs are romping around happily getting used to each other but this could go on for hrs and my readers are getting tired. So I'll close for now and finish tomorrow - suffice to say all ends well?
