They usually call with a reminder message and to confirm. This time I received an email from Klara (touted as an easy and secure way for medical providers to communicate with their patients and with each other) to confirm, but it doesn't work on my computer because of an "outdated browser".

I get an annoying variety of calls, texts, and emails reminding me of my appointments.

No shows must to be a significant problem if they devote so much time and attention to reminding patients of upcoming appointments.

Routine scheduled yearly eye exam reminder was sent to my wife's email sent along with a check in form. Now all she has to do is show up, slide her Medicare card in the kiosk & wait to be called. The facility we go to usually is right on time or no more than 5 minutes waiting.

A lot of medical providers have moved to text, email and bot calls. You did receive the information. Have you called to confirm?

Well, although I'm on top of things, I'm still glad they remind us. If we don't show up to the GP or dentist and haven't let them know 24 hours before, we are charged, I think it's $50.

Sounds like you need to update that computer or switch over to texts…. Or write everything into your calendar.

This is recurring in your posts. Believe me, my desk has scratch marks from me refusing to text! This is standard communication.
