I have met Big Bird

Gee, what size oven do you have?

I figure it'll take about 11 hours to cook, then it's gotta rest for awhile. After wrestling with that monster, you're probably gonna need a rest, too!

Nah, I'll just invite Tim Allen over for a Pterodactyl roast and ask him to bring a forklift and a huge blacksmith forge, and we'll have that bad boy cooked up in 15 minutes. Yum ....... Charturkey.
I may want to give the local fire department a heads up though. There will likely be a substantial smoke cloud.

Is there even an outdoor fryer big enough for that.

I think that needs a spit like a pig would get roasted on.
Yeah, probably a bit much for a fryer, but sure, the pig roast method could work.
Usually when I can't figure something out, I ask myself: "What would Fred Flintstone do?"
