Yes, good customer service is a thing of the past, and it seems like new employees are at the same places I use almost every week. Not that many years ago it wasn't unusual to see the same store staff for years.
My take is that well run businesses with skilled managers tend to attract and hold onto good employees and succeed. Poorly run businesses and unskilled managers do not and eventually fail. A sort of "business darwinism". :rolleyes:
 

I'd mention leaving a bad online review and contacting corporate.
I actually did leave feedback to their corporate site. They ended up calling me and I explained the situation. Sounds mean, but in reality it could save their store, since the lack of service I experienced would ultimately cause them to close. They sort of offered me compensation but I did not take it, since I did not lose any money.
