The last film I saw at the flicks was The City of Lost Children in 1995, guessing here but I think this was the last one I saw.
In passing time awaiting the servicing of my car I had a look at Hoyts Cinemas showings.
Price of a ticket is AU$21.
No one is allowed to take their own snacks into the theatre.
If I wanted a soft drink and Popcorn - $17.90.
Though for the life of me why would anyone want to eat popcorn at the flicks for such a ridiculous price?
It seems that the general public have been conditioned that they must eat and drink at the movies.
Why can they not go without for 2 hours maximum?
I am afraid a large proportion of the population have lost the ability to think for themselves.
