We were driving on an interstate. There was a road sign saying "lane closed ahead".
Usually cars would start to rush up in the closed lane and force their way in making everyone else have to wait longer. That is so annoying!
This time however cars started staggering the lanes so cars couldn't rush the line. It was so great as we all had the same wait.
As we got to the lane closing people let the staggered cars back in. Finally justice!
I hope this is a new trend.

When I drove a semi truck, this is what we did...Blocked the lane and stayed even with another truck in the other lane..

OOooh I hate when people do that...the sign is usually about 1/2 a mile from the blockage giving people plenty of time to pull into the nearest lane, but they don't they drive hell for leather up to the closed sign then push in... causing the original line to have to wait even longer than they have already..

I never let anyone in who does that, I've already been waiting in the queue for ages so they can sit and wait, looking like the impatient fool they are in the wrong lane for as long as it takes afaic ...
