I love chili and never could find the prefect recipe. Finally I found two that when combined turns out just the way I like it. Not to hot and just a little spicy. One is vegetarian, the other is not. The problem is that the recipe calls for many different cans of beans, even chick peas which I love, tomatoes, paste and sauce and even potatoes, and carrots, onions and garlic. I could cut it in half but would be stuck with many types of plain beans which the hubby will not eat so I can't even put it in soups and stews. So I made a vat of it. The chili does freeze well and I'm sure my son will eat it once he douses it with hot sauce. I think we are good until April. lol
