I Keep Losing Days

This is happening all too often. It's Thursday afternoon here for me and up until 30 minutes ago I am thinking Wednesday.

One thing I know for sure is that I can get on the computer and loose all kinds of time. I will be sure to not miss the Bar B Q to which I was invited at 6 PM Thursday the 14th. That's one of the nice things about retirement, no heavy schedules or appointments,Thursday cpuld just as well be Wednesday.

That happens to me a lot too Lon, since I've retired. Many times all day Saturday I'll be thinking it's Sunday, etc. Today's the 14th, have fun at the barby! :D

It happens to me too, Lon. I have to check the date on the computer or phone, and now that I've got doctor's appointments booked ahead, I've gone back to writing things onto the paper calendar.

Hope you are having fun at the bbq .. that's today, right now! I'm envious, as it's definitely not bbq weather here.

Buy a calendar Lon and take a look at it.

I have several clocks throughout the house which also signify the day and date. Your cell phone always shows the exact time, day and date.

I just bought a new wrist watch that is controlled by the satellite in Colorado. This one even talks to me, whenever I hit the button
and audibly speaks the hour on the hour. Sometimes it frightens me until I get used to it.

It is accurate to the split second.

Yeah, you do loose track of days. I know it's the weekend, because all the TV programs are different. Other than that....... When you're waiting for something to be delivered, and it hasn't come. When they ask you exactly what date you ordered the stuff....... well, it wasn't yesterday, but a bunch of days ago.

Despite my watch with the date, my I Phone with time and calendar and the time and date on my lap top, I still lose a day here and there.

I hear you, Lon. One of the things that screws me up is staying up past midnight Then I often get confused about what day "tomorrow" is.
On a rare ( for me ) optimistic note; my mental abilities seem to have improved quite a bit off of their lows of a few months ago.

When you lose a whole weekend, give up drinking.

Oops, the poster didn't appear properly.
I was referring to Ray Milland in the film The Lost Weekend

Well, it is nice to not have to use the TGIF mantra anymore...
