Must have been around 1990 because the grandsons were about that age 4-5-6 or so.
They watched the cartoons on tv- all sitting in a row on the couch.
Those cartoons were mostly hero’s of the universe type cartoons and it didn’t take me long to see what the general theme was.
So one day I walked in while they were enthralled in watching whatever hero and I said “ A HA I’ve unlocked the secrets of the universe- tomorrow I rule the world.”
I let them jump on me and pull me down.
“You can’t do that Grandpa as they lightly pounded me with their little fists.”
Sure loved those little guys and now they have kids older than they were then.
Love them as much or more now and they never cease to amaze me at how good they are with my great grandkids.
So there was never any doubt in my mind who would save my world.
