I make mine!!

My mom could not live if the beds weren't made. Me- I'm not so fussy. I live alone, so on one sees how much of a slob I truly am. That means not making the bed everyday-but I have to admit, I feel much better if it's made.

i sleep on the couch so my blankets are folded and a wooden gate put on it --the dog would get on there if i didnt put the gateup i dont like animals in my bed or on my furniture

Our bed is "lightly" made sometime during the day usually by me. Sometimes we make the bed up just before going to bed. As a treat our two mutts get to get on the bed with us for a while before we go to sleep. We don't like them on the sheets so we make up the bed and pull the comforter up for them to lay on.

Hope this is not taking this tread off track ...smack my fingers if it is @Ronni

I remember neighbours / relatives criticising others in the neighbourhood about how white their sheets on the line were ;) that was back in the days before it was rare to see anything but white sheets
They used to be called "Tattle tale gray."

I get up first these days so hubby makes the bed. Pre-retirement, he got up first so I made the bed. Either way, our bed always gets made when the last human is out, much to the distress of our little dog who also sleeps in it (on it?) and resents being disturbed.

I would have thought bright white sheets (as in not dingy, stained) would have been a good thing?

Mothers (back in the day) were famous for it when it came to who had the whitest diapers on the clothesline.

I said it before, and I'll say it again. "Close the door!";)
I'm really a bit of a neat freak. But, it seems to apply to every other room in the house except the bedroom. The bedroom itself is very neat and tidy, but I don't really bother with making the bed. I straighten it up at night before I go to bed. It does get made very nicely when I change the sheets, though.
