I must be part dog

AZ Jim

R.I.P. With Us In Spirit Only
I chased a school bus yesterday. It had ran non-stop through a stop sign. Didn't even slow down. So, I chased it down, finally got it to stop and I chewed the driver out. Then I went home, called the school district and spoke with the transportation supervisor and reported the incident. She thanked me and assured me that driver would be sternly spoken to. The worst part was the driver told me she didn't notice the stop sign which is in the clear and impossible to miss.

You did a good thing AZ. There have been so many school bus accidents that someone has to do something about it. At least you are trying to prevent an accident from happening.:thumbsup1:

That's good Jim! She could have been distracted by the kids which made her not see the stop sign, hopefully she wasn't on her cell phone texting someone....either way she needed to be talked to about it so she's more careful in the future. Glad she didn't crash into you!

Good for you! I am on the road every day walking/biking/running. Now I do not want to offend anyone, but Bus Drivers are tops on my list of fast drivers. I see one coming at me and I pretty much jump off the road. The busses that come through our tiny neighborhood drive like its a freeway.

Why are you chasing after a school bus? I just read a post from you stating that you have had a heart attack and strokes and a few other maladies. Next time, I recommend just taking the license number and reporting the incident to whoever the report should go to.

I realized that, but chasing after a vehicle for whatever reason would probably cause the body's blood pressure to rise, not to mention that one's adrenaline would also be increased into the blood stream causing the heart and other organs to work harder. Or, maybe not. I am not a doctor, but If I had your medical issues, I would just report the license number. But, that's just me.
