I Once Lived in Jane Eyre Country

It looks like a beautiful place to live.
May I ask, why you left?
yes of course!! - young people get bored with routines - urges for promotion/different excitements - so finished up in HK for a while then Oz permanently - now reminiscing - what would I /could I have changed that would have made any significant difference - watched my father die painfully - stayed a while longer for Mom but the family was naturally falling gently apart and so life must go on?? - old families - new families etc etc - and in the end the final question - was it worth it all??

If you could move back there, would you?
No - I talk to friends there on fb - and it is still beautiful in parts - but I believe you have to have the "sum total" - the past is memory but no longer concrete - and I was not from there originally - and still wouldn't go back to my origins permanently - i think its a mistake in a way - a sadness of the aged - looking for the past that is no longer there just in our minds to share a while? - but just for fun you have posed another question or two ? - of all the places you've been and lived which one would you/could you tolerate going back to the most and why??

I once lived in Canada for a month or two but would I could I - oh now I am recalling Barbara Streisand and some of her singing and it's tearing me! Memories in the corners of my mind !! - that was a beauty
