I really miss it when I was able to

I miss being able to get off the couch without experiencing pain in my knee and going "owwww." I'm going to get a cortisone shot which hopefully will alleviate the pain.

Yes, I miss the old days of picking up a box of light bulbs.
On the plus side, when LEDs became widely available we replaced every bulb in the house, with the exception of some bathroom halogens. The drop in the cost of electricity was more than expected. That, and the fact that LEDs outlast incandescents by a long shot has made the conversion very worthwhile.

I have a smart phone.. I wouldn't dream of walking along the road looking at it like I see so many people doing... nor would I be glancing at it while in conversation with others. I really always want to ask people what they are looking at that can't wait for a few minutes...
I take spin classes and a few years ago a young woman from the class was killed from being hit by a car in a parking garage. She was staring down at her phone and stepped right out in front of a car, it was a slow speed impact but she hit her head when she fell and ended up not surviving. This happened just a few weeks before her wedding. Such a tragedy that could have easily been avoided.

In dealing with my mom’s health care providers and government bureaucracies last year I quickly had to learn there is a difference and to not confuse the two.

in regard to the question, I really miss when I was able to squat or kneel quickly and get up just as quick without pain and grunting.
TY... so a rollator is a walker...but a walker may not be a rollator.. :)

It's just hard to get used to for me..still, I say to each his/her own and if they like it go for it...who cares. There are issues more important than what color someone chooses for their hair.
