I Refuse To Eat That...

I like most foods and love to experiment with foods that are unknown. I may love oyster stew, but I don't eat oysters Rockefeller or clams on the half shell. I don't eat sushi either.

I absolutely love oysters and scallops. Same with sushi. I like liver and I like brussels sprouts. There is something, though, that makes me physically gag and no one ever knew why. I don't have a lactose issue, but my stomach revolts with yogurt. I've tried many times and it never changes. It's not a physical thing either... just that reflex.

I won't eat oysters or beef cooked rare. It has to be on the well side of medium.
I only eat beef well done, burnt even. Can't stand it if it bears any resemblance to once being alive! Once I went to Paris with my mother and I asked for my steak well done and the waitress shook her head with a look that could've buried me if looks could, and said "Non. We cannot do that."

When my wife was growing up they sometimes had brains and eggs and she loved it. I wouldn't be able to handle that.
I can't stand the smell of cantaloupe. My mom said I loved it as a baby.
I don't like pecans or walnuts, but they don't gag me.
I'd never stick a live oyster in my mouth, but they're OK fried or stewed.
Cooked insects wouldn't bother me if they tasted good.
I'd never eat more than one brussel sprout. That's about all I can take.

Isn't much I turn down when it's prepared properly but I'll know not to eat something when I see it and just go ... No
Love raw oysters but consider them too risky now days. Wouldn't care to roll the dice for hepatitis.
Never had sushi and never will. Basically anything raw is a No ... except some veggies and fruit.
The thing about sushi is not only is it raw but it gets quite fondled right in front of you by a stranger before offered. No

@Jules my DH wouldn’t eat yoghurt and I started making him some ( I always made my own ) no not packet mixes I made it from scratch ….an it’s really good for our health and my DH eats it for breakfast everyday
but it’s got to the stage where it’s cheaper to buy ready made due to cost of fresh milk

No sushi or other trendy foodie stuff at all. Muskrat and squirrel......Oh yeah. I'm not very picky. Scrapple is one of my all time favorite foods. I also like home made head cheese straight from the pigs brain. I used to watch my mother make it.
