I saw a robin this morning

While out chopping ice and shoveling. The poor thing was pecking at dry twigs on top of the snow; perhaps thinking they were worms. Worms are pretty scarce right now. I wonder what they eat when worms and grubs aren't available?

Go to a pet or hardware store and by meal worms to feed them. Dried or alive.

Not sure what they eat, but robin are around here year round... even with all the snow.
