I think the neighbors think I'm nutz.

Duck season is just a few weeks away and figuring that I might be a little rusty I stepped out in the front yard yesterday evening after supper and started blowing on my duck call......I live back in the circle on a cul-de-sac and the sound really echoes and sounds good.

After blowing a couple of minutes (I sounded pretty darn good even if I do say so myself :)) I see one neighbor open the front door and look out and I could see the curtains move on two other houses.

Me imagining the conversation ;

Her, "Honey what's all that racket outside ?
Him, "It's just that crazy old goat across the street blowing on dam duck call."

:ROFLMAO:

Her: Honey, what's all that racket outside?

Him: Moooooo!

Her: Honey, what's all that racket outside?

Him: I don't know, and I can't stay up late to find out; I've got to get up very early tomorrow morning,
to go outdoors, and Cocka-doodle-dooooo!

Are you planning to move out of that neighborhood,
anytime soon, @IKE ? :unsure::sneaky::rolleyes:

If not, perhaps you ought to move on, to some other hobbies and activities, and explore other musical talents and hidden acting abilities, that you might have! :LOL:;):D

I have a record album by Wes Harrison who did sound effects..
He did one of a rail road train sounding its horn while going through an intersection.
He had a speaker set up on his car and every night he would travel through this small town in the middle of nowhere and would blast the sound at 2am that did not have any tracks for thousands of miles!!
He thinks the residents are still digging and looking for the tracks!!
