I used to love to watch makeovers on tv

I just loved watching makeovers. I used to watch the talk shows and they would take some woman and do a makeover. Sometimes, not too often, I would think that the woman looked better before the makeover! Also, I can't remember which show it was, maybe Oprah? whereby they would check in with the women a year later to see if they kept up the look. And some did and some did not. Did anyone else have fun watching these?

yes I remember those... they seemed to be more prolific on American shows..like Sally Jessy Raphael.....show...

I think people got bored with them in the end... but I agree sometimes people looked better before...

It was often interesting but not always successful. I like home makeovers as well and I find myself judging them too. Are that many throw pillows really necessary? Where do you stack them when you sleep?
