I want to thank the owner and administrator(s) of this site and the people here.

And best wishes and thoughts from me also, Phoenix. I hope that things get better for you soon.

Thank you so much. Last night through my website because of the article there about my brother I received an email from a gal whose brother murdered someone and assaulted four others last March. She's beside herself and can hardly get by. I remember that space. She wanted to know how I've managed. Helping her, helping others like her, helping others understand what it's like from this side of murder, is my purpose. Kindness and compassion are my purpose. I got to this purpose because of my brother. For this I am grateful, for the pain out there is horrendous and there are those who don't make it unless they receive a little kindness.

I found a video of Glenn Campbell's song, Try a Little Kindness. It has images of Jesus in it and I'm not religious, but if we put ourselves in the picture, we can be the ones offering the hand. It's up to us. God or whatever does or does not exist, does not have skin we can touch. We are that skin. I'm so grateful for the lessons I learned because of deep and abiding pain. Phoenix, I'm so sorry for the pain you are experiencing from the loss of your brother. I agree with you about how this site can add comfort to you and a place to release your emotions. There are many people here that care. Focus on the happy memories. My deepest condolences to you and your family.

Thank you so much nitelite. Yes, there were good memories when we were both kids. It was a time when he had grins all over his face.
