I was not quick enough

Okay, Miss @OneEyedDiva, it is time to try again. Drag out whatever large glass container you have, fill with water and 3 or 3 large tea bags. Set it out on the balcony rail and wait for the magic to happen. Add whatever sweetner you prefer, even some fruits, lemon, peaches. Those were some of the popular in my home town.

Well, here's the thing...birds and our resident squirrel visit my patio, not to mention insects. With my OCD and partial germaphobia*, I'm not bringing anything in the house that's sat outside. Another thing...I'm clumsy, so stay away from large glass containers. Seriously. I have a glass pitcher sitting on top of my kitchen cabinet but there's no top. I'd never use it though because it was my mother's and again, I'd be afraid of breaking it. Thank you just the same.
*I say partial germaphobia because I was worse before we got our kitten. She "cured" me quick! I was never as bad as "Monk" though.

I do have large sealed glass containers. I am so clumsy that I have been nick named Calamity and then my name. When I do make sun tea I bring it and wash the container well. Then it is placed in a second container with a spout for the fridge. I try to do the tea and use it in the next couple of days. Most people don't understand that tea or any other drink can turn bad in just a few days. It is often best to make sun tea if you are expecting a crowd that will go thru it during the event. They will wonder how you made it since it is so tasty!!
