I was surprised when I saw famous people that died this year

Kirstie Alley on 5 December 2022... RIP... That girl suffered with her weight all her life... Only strange thing, is when you find out their real age. You go, "Oh My! I thought she was my age!" Watched her in Star Trek, in Cheers!, all three films "Look Who's Talking" and my favourite "It Takes Two" with the Olsen twins and that guy from Johnny Five and Police Academy 👍💐💐💐

Saw this today:
“Every minute someone leaves this world behind. Age has nothing to do with it.
We are all in "the line" without knowing it.
We never know how many people are before us.
We can not move to the back of the line.
We can not step out of the line.
We can not avoid the line.
So while we wait in line:
Make moments count.
Make priorities.
Make the time.
Make your gifts known.
Make a nobody feel like a somebody.
Make your voice heard.
Make the small things big.
Make someone smile.
Make the change.
Make love.
Make up.
Make peace.
Make sure to tell your people they are loved.
Make sure to have no regrets.
Make sure you are ready…”

Thanks for posting. I don't know most of these people but some I do. People die all the time but I suppose these are pretty famous and when they go it reminds us of our own mortality.

You might be famous and you might be rich but, "You come into this world with nothing and that is exactly the way you leave it."

It was a long year, and a sad year in those we lost. It seems like more than a year has passed since some of them died. I miss so many of them.

Thank you for this Sassy. I like the format. Brad William Henke's death saddened me. Ironically, the day he died, I was thinking of him and trying to remember his first name. I had seen him in an episode Grimm, a series that I watched three times and enjoyed his performance so much. I also thought he was hunky and Googled him. That was years ago. I found out the night after he died that he was gone! I was also saddened by Leslie Jordan's death; he was so cute and funny in The Cool Kids. Clarence Gilyard, Roger Mosley and Irene Cara's deaths surprised me....and just now..Bobby Rydell !! May they all R.I.P.

Thanks @Sassycakes

Every year they get closer to my own age...

I had missed Ray Liotta's passing. Sat next to him on a plane once, he slept the whole time...
I loved his eyes, so when I told my BFF he'd died, she mistakenly said he was one of my favorite actors. He wasn't, though I like him...but I loved his eyes. I'm glad to read he slept rather than behaved in a manner that would classify him as a jerk.

Here's some links to YouTube videos on the App about celebrities who died in 2022.

It's the YouTube channel if LEGACY.COM
https://youtube.com/@legacycom

It has loads of videos in celebrities which we've lost. Some will shock you! One that did for myself was the gorgeous one with the nifty car on 90210, Luke Perry. 4 March 2019 at 52 years old. I'm 7 years older. Yikes!

RIP to all these good people. Blessed be!
