I added "We" because @feywon is also feeling the loss of our treasured friend. I called her Vivi. Besides being such a positive force, she was a beautiful, classy lady who had been an RN. Another treasured online friend who became like a sister to me (I call her "Li'l Sis") is also devastated. She and Vivi didn't live that far from each other and used to get together from time to time. Li'l Sis was good friends with The Temptations musical director back in the day, so when they were in the area she and Vivi got free tickets for the concerts after which they got to hang out backstage with The Temps.
Others of us who formed a Sisterhood since back in our Eons.com days, then continued on Facebook, are also reeling from her loss. She's been gone for four days but I just found out this morning! My eyes have been moist all day. She had been in remission from cancer and unbeknownst to us, the cancer returned. Those of us who have experienced this Sisterhood, this bond, the support and love we've given each other during these 17 years will tell you...there IS such a thing as real online friends. Feywon can attest to that. Rest peacefully in paradise Vivi.
