I will be glad to see 2025

We don't have as far to go, as we've already been
:(
This year has been one of the worst when it comes to things giving up or breaking.
It's this endless parade of small (and some big) stuff that makes me crazy.
My list so far...

Refrigerator
dishwasher
bread machine
over head microwave... then, a second overhead microwave in less the 2 months
2 ups battery backup's
57 chevy battery
trailblazer battery
Camaro battery
my Harley battery. I expect wife's Harley will go next.
my computer
wife's computer
46" flat screen tv
bench grinder
head gasket 57 chevy
3 heating pads
computer modem
2 vacuum cleaners

My condolences!!
My DH and I hear you here!!

Refrigerator
Washer and Dryer
DHs computer
Printer
A mattress
A vac battery

TWO cars had to be replaced - the repairs and time sitting in shop for repairs is just ridiculous.
(Am happy we two agree on doing certified preowned when we can find a good one with low mileage. We ended up with the one preowned - we absolutely LOVE and the one new...well, the new one is like a a cell phone or computer on wheels. It is FAR from intuitive and all the electronics distract us TERRIBLY when driving it! We both dislike it, nowhere near the other's quality, though they are the same maker; selling it as soon as it goes out of warranty, or sooner.

I'm really sorry to hear all that. Seems that's how things go over at my house much of the time.

That would be my DH singing as I am the fix-it person in our household. I do and he watches: fascinated.
My DH likes to tell friends of his: "She married me for my tools!". It is somewhat TRUE.

I had my OWN tools when we began dating 12 years ago because I've been a mechanically inclined female all my life, that and my step dad was a mechanic (airplane, boat, small engines, cars) so much of his talent transferred to me via doing.

When I saw my DH's shop and gorgeous Golden Retriever I thought: "Wow, just LOOK at all these tools I could use! And, and the DOG!! He is beautiful!"

I married the tools and the dog.

2024 has been a handful, so was 1994. Come to think of it so was 2021 - 22 - 23! ... (n) ...
I didn't marry a nightmare; I have had one. I should hire it done. That most likely would be a nightmare too.

But I have an improved out of doors life with 2 large decks and an 80 sq Ft. Porch. The pets say thank you!
