I Wish I Could Do This For My Cats. My Tabby Would Love it.

Yes, they do seem to like high places.

Do you know anyone who might help you with it?

Yes, they do seem to like high places.
Some breeds prefer low, dark places. I make places like that for my cat; little hides made of cardboard or a plastic tote, and I made a couple of little tee-pees out of dark colored fabric. There's at least one hide in every room that he likes to hang out in.

@Remy, you could just hang some shelves on a wall in a pattern that ascends upward, so s/he can hop from one shelf to the next, higher and higher. And you could could zig-zag them so they take up less space. Then maybe you'd only need help to make sure they're screwed in securely.

My cat would love everything on the cat video posted here, she is a curious one
and likes to have special places~

Just the arrangement of furniture in your home can work with your kittoos!

I've three Ikea cabinets. Two attached together with a blank space on top shelf. CoffeeBean just climbs it and sits up there. When the mood takes him, he then jumps onto the Glass cabinet which is slightly higher and surveys his domain. I've four book shelves which are arranged as tallest to smallest making a staircase for him.

In our bedroom, again a staircase type storage for clothing and his favourite, our Ikea pine closets. The counters in our kitchen are the same height as the dining table and the garbage bin is in front of the shelving unit where I keep his food.

All in all, just as you organise your space for yourself, arrange it too for your kitten's. Unless you're good at DIY it's best to get a simple staircase shelf set from Amazon:

Or try this one which is simple to do on YouTube:

This is easy to do!

We hear our cats sounding like a stampede of elephants upstairs during dinner because that is their playtime. They are wrestling and chasing each other.

I've posted this before, but when I get home and Bugsy has gotten bored, various kitchen cabinets and drawers are open. He has a partner in crime as well. I caught him this time.

We do have a glass door that looks out onto our patio and we make sure we have the bird feeder full so our cats have lots to watch.

Have you ever tried the bird videos for cats on you tube? One of my kitties loves to watch them and the other one just doesn’t get it at all. The ones with sound of the bird wings as they swoop in and out are most popular.
