I wish I had the ability to heal

To have the ability to heal would allow me to share the most intimate presence of another being. To be so close as to understand life and how to Offer change to make It more efficient.
 

The best way to heal is to accept everything that happens to you no matter how bad whether it is pain, impairment and even death. At age 88 I'm experienced in ACCEPTANCE.

Yes that’s true. What about people who have the uncanny gift to absorb pain and sorrow from the affirmed because of love? This to me is far more gratifying, sacrificing self so that others may gain from it.
 
Jesus could heal by touching. The rest of us, not so much. If we could, both of my wives would still be alive.

Sacrificing our own gains for others is what leads to greater fulfilment and profound happiness, so one is led to believe. However, although self-sacrifice may appear to be a good thing, consistently putting the needs of others ahead of yours can result in anger, frustration, exhaustion and all sorts of other resentments.
That's my take on it anyway.

As a mother I am a self sacrificer…it does bring me peace and joy to do the best for the people I love.

Kind of makes a person wonder why all those marvelous happenings stopped. Prior to biblical times there was this.
As Homo sapiens began migrating out of Africa nearly 100,000 years ago, they met and mated with Neanderthals who were already living in and around the Middle East. There’s been evidence that modern humans also bred with other species including Homo erectus, the Denisovans, and possibly even more. To put it simply, we don’t know the full extent of the genetic mixing, but we do know that several species mated with one another to create the genetic diversity necessary for the survival of our species. Could the opening picture with the variety of human skulls be what Genesis 1:26 refers to?

Mankind evolved to biblical times, where miracles took place. Nothing since why?
