I think all these "carriers" look awful. Some people should not be allowed to own a pet.

There are safe and comfortable pet carriers.
I don't like to see small dogs stuffed into back packs for babies, they are not constructed for dog's spines, legs or tails. Even babies, should be carried in front, IMO.
There are padded, hand-bag-like carriers for really tiny dogs.

I rate it right up there with the baby cages hanging off a tall building. Might be safe, but I could never relax knowing that they are out there.
