Boise, Idaho — Moments after hearing an Idaho hospital was overwhelmed by COVID-19 patients and looking at sending people as far away as Seattle for care, members of a regional health department board voted Thursday to repeal a local mask mandate.

Cuomo is a pain in the you know what, and I have been Really Angry with him on a prior state issue, but I do think, after watching him every day for months, that he is extremely competent, especially compared to the governor in the article.

I think Cuomo's actions helped shut down the earlier NY surge. However, this virus isn't done yet, not with the world, the US, or NY.

As soon as leaders start bragging about their successes COVID seems to relish proving them wrong.

Sadly Win, I don't think one can be discussed, without the other. Many, if not most, of the decisions that have been made since the advent of the disease, last January, have been political.

And in future years, I'm of the opinion that many of the political decisions will have been responsible for many needless deaths, especially among those of us who are the most vulnerable. Only time will tell.
