Identity theft?

Anyone use Lifelock? Any comments, good, bad? Expensive? Any other companies out there that are better?

Thanks, Gene

I don't know much about identity theft, and luckily have never been targeted by hackers. It may not be realistic, but I feel that giving my social security number and other personal information to another online company like Lifelock, is just another stranger(s) who can access my info, or be hacked by thieves. From what I understand, they don't cover all bases either, and can only protect in specific areas.

Someone stole my identity. I watch my credit cards and found out some guy loved porn and had allot of goodies going to his house.
The cops delivered the stuff he ordered.
If (here) someone charges things on your CC and it was not you, the bank will cover the charges.
If someone hacks your checking account or savings account, you are at a loss.
If someone sets up a line of credit and buys a new car, you get to pay the bill.
The bank tightened my credit after I was hacked and they notify me if any weird things happen about my credit.
LifeLock, don't use or know if it is worth the money?
