if you became a millionaire which job around the house would you hire a professional to do?
 

None. I'm a hands-on, DIY kind of guy. Just taught myself how to replace roof decking, because my roof was leaking, under the eaves. Fun project, satisfied my soul. Roofers wanted $650, minimum. I did the job for less than $50. Being self-sufficient, when it comes to effectively dealing with the world around me, is worth more to me than any amount of money. (I hope that makes it into the book you're obviously working on. All you do is post these questions, in here, day in, day out.)
 
Depends just how many millions we’re talking about Furry, but I would definately get somebody to clean my oven !
 
If I was uber rich I would hire people to do things with me as opposed to doing things for me.

Cleaning my house. I would also hire me a driver rather than use a service. This way, I would have the same driver each time rather than a different one each time.

lol - I didn't consider that possibility. He/she starts these threads on at least 2 other sites I am on, under slightly different names. Seems harmless enough to me, though.
 
Oh for goodness sake..it's a He, and to me he's simply trying to start topics for conversation, why does there have to an ulterior motive? ...why talk about him as tho' he's not here?. he's right here on this thread, ask him directly if you want to know anything...

I don't like the "feel" of posts that seem, to me, to have some ulterior motive. Yeah, maybe I'm paranoid, but I've "outed" a few posters, in here, who were up to some shady stuff. As seniors, we are a valuable resource to some who wish to write various articles and books. If someone is going to make money off of me, I want honesty, beforehand, not sneaky, probing posts.

I can't imagine anyone would give a rat's patoot about what a group of seniors would spend their money on if they won the lottery. Yawn. Take off your foil hat and enjoy Thanksgiving.

I hope it would be several million. I'd have a cleaning company come over to my house at least once a month to clean every nook and cranny. And a chauffeur for sure. That's why I would need several million because I believe in a fair wage with all the benefits.

There's a solution to your problem. Just don't respond and then you won't be in the book. I think if your complaint was taken seriously, we would be missing out on some fun and interesting posts.

I thought it was highly amusing!No ulterior motives...just a bit of fun.I may ask two questions tomorrow!And they have all been asked by someone ,somewhere before.Not worth getting upset about.

What causes someone to ask for a member to be banned. I haven't seen any insults in here,of course I often don't notice things like that. Now I'm wondering if I have been rude to anyone in here !
