If it weren't enough with rising prices...

Tariffs will affect the things we import.
Amazing how this can jump from why is a cable bill high to discussing Tariffs

True. Eventually when materials needed to maintain equipment is needed then the potential for another increase in price for an internet supplier would be reasonable.

So back to what impacts cable vs. streaming

Meanwhile like any business competition impacts cost. Cheaper streaming obviously takes customer base away from cable companies. In order to stay in business price increases to loyal customers still using cable helps to answer the question Deb was looking for. Other factors like buying content to bundle, wage increase, fleet maintenance for cable installers & line maintenance play a role. When is the last time anyone saw a Netflix driver pull up in a van loaded with the equipment needed to install or repair Netflix?

I can only speak for myself. The projected gloom & doom & fear of tariffs hasn't hit me.

Yes. And it's worth remembering, that it's not simply finished products we're talking about. It's components to items. For instance, 35% of a Tesla is imported components. In fact, no car is 100% US made. From iPhones to TV's, none are all US made, meaning tariffs affect just about everything. That additional cost is ours, as consumers, to bear.

Tariffs will cost the loss of 10's of thousands of jobs a month.
Get prepped and ready for a really sorry ass.

The good news is we can fly to Vegas win or lose a fortune and get Yourself administrated knocked out not up drugs soon.

I pay 149 a month for internet, cable, and phone. I don't think its too high but it could be lower. I get a ton of channels and am happy.
what ?... Whaaaat ?...

I pay ÂŁ33 for the internet , tv & landline per month... I cut my previous 1000 channels which we had as a couple.. when the divorce came though I reduced those channels to I think it's about 120 now..excluding sports and movies which I don't watch, so that brought it down to ÂŁ33 per month for the TV... landline and Internet package with superfast Broadband copper fibre ... .... and seperate is ÂŁ5 per month contract for my Iphone with free unlimited texts

..so for a total of ÂŁ38 per month = $50 US...I get TV, Internet, landline , and Mobile phone...

For some of us, it isn't only the increase for insurance and internet but our local cities are adding fees for everything because they know the voters won't approve higher taxes.

It’s impossible in the states to get anywhere near that price for all those services.

I mean, you have to buy the whole bundle they sell you, or you don't get anything. You pay $100 for the internet, or you pay $100 for the internet+TV, or you pay $100 for the internet+TV+phone. That is involuntary bundling.
Sure, they are forcing you to get T-Mobile
